Due to Stella Adlers location in an under-served, economically disadvantaged area (Hollywood Blvd. They have different teaching styles and methods from what Adler did. That said, it is a good place to train if you are in Hollywood. Our mission is to connect each actor, from all over the world, with mentors that will last a lifetime. Find the top classes, headshot photographers, or even self-tape studios - we list it all. We have 6 terms per year in which to choose from (Winter, Spring, Late Spring, Summer, Late Summer, Fall). Pending evaluation, students may move upward in the program. Stella Adler Academy Of Acting Registration Fee ToThere is a 30 application fee and a 100 non-refundable registration fee to apply. Each terms tuition is due no later than one week before the first day of classes. The cost of the two-year program is 35,900 (18,500 for the first year and 17,400 for the second). There are six terms per year for a total of twelve terms. If you are interested in taking individual classes, please see our website for individual class costs. The student agrees to pay one-third of the total balance no later than one week before the first day of classes. The second payment is due three weeks after the first day of classes. The split-payment fee of 45 will be automatically added to the terms invoice if payments have not been made in the first week of the term. Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. For international students who require a student visa, the Studio issues the Form I-20 (M-1 Visa)a two-year visa followed by up to 6 months of practical training. In addition to the normal registration requirements, an international student must be fluent in English, submit proof of sufficient income to cover tuition and living expenses for one year, provide a valid passport, and submit a non-refundable application fee of 160 dollars. Extension will require an additional fee of 290 (Paid to the Department of Homeland Security). Said guarantor is responsible for all monies and will be notified should any problems arise, including but not limited to monies, behavior, withdrawal, dismissal, and visa status. At the end of your program you can apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) for up to six months. There will be additional fees (670) paid to the government for processing. Tuition will be paid either by bank wire, cash, credit card, cashiers check, or money order made payable to Stella Adler. Students will be responsible for additional fees owed directly to the Department of Homeland Security. Students are welcome to take part time or individual classes. However, students will need to follow the curriculum and cannot take classes that have prerequisites before filling the requirements.
